HSCA Events REGISTRATION FOR OUR 2026 CONFERENCE IS NOW OPEN! Friday, January 23, 2026 HSCA State Counselor Conference Hale Akoakoa, Windward Community College Kaneohe, Hawaii 7:45am - 3:00pm “Pūpūkahi i Holomua no nā Haumāna” “Working Together to Move Forward for our Students” is our theme this year. Join us to connect with fellow School Counselors from across the state -- make new connections and renew existing ones! Our keynote speaker will speak about how not only you dream it and have it all, but also how you can turn that into one of the most selfless things -- to give back so others can have the same path you did! You may know Malcolm Mitchell from his Georgia Bulldogs fame, or even his time with the New England Patriots, but he is the founder and CEO of the Share the Magic Foundation, driven to help students be great readers. Come be inspired by his story, and hear how his School Counselor and teachers helped keep him on track in his pursuits! His keynote will be followed by three rounds of breakout sessions, where you can build your School Counseling repertoire with tools to deal with current, contemporary issues that School Counselors face every day.
